...See You Next Fall
I really have to get better at doing the one thing that may make my life easier; planning ahead. I am the worst when it comes to finding a baby sitter for an event I know is on the calendar. And sometimes, I will be honest, I feel terrible asking my friends and babysitters to come as much as I need. And let's be honest, it get's really expensive. With KP's schedule all over the board, there are times I have to miss things I know are planned, like Zumba. I haven' been since last Wednesday and that makes me feel ... flabby. Haha!
I sure hope this doesn't sounds like, "Wah Wah, I have to watch the kid I made." We have been having a ball and taking some extra steps at night to work on vocabulary and learning new things. We have had a few ah-ha moments, like when he read Mr. Brown Can Moo, Can You, making all the sounds as he turned each page. {Cutest was boom boom boom} We are trying to get past his bath hating stage. He loved the bath for the longest time, and he still loves the water. I think what he hates is starting the bedtime routine. But lately, he has been asking to get into bed. He is so so so busy, he wears himself out! I am loving this age (I am sure I say that for each stage!)
Anyway - there was really no reason to write a blog tonight other than to hold myself accountable for missing Zumba. I did do legs tonight at home in an attempt to get on step closer to better buns. It would have been easier had I not fallen down the stairs at work on Tuesday. Yes, I just admitted that to the world. I biffed it in my heels, and took a nasty tumble down the stairs. Thank goodness it was only me and my two girl friends at work. It would have been a site, as my legs were bent all wacky and I was wearing a skirt. I popped up as soon as I figured out how to detangle myself thanked God I didn't have any bones protruding from my legs. However, along with my new pimp limp, and soreness, I have some good looking bruises on my legs and my ego.
Luckily there is no one I would rather hang out with as I heal than this little boy.
Take care all! XOXO
