New Job. New Face. New adventures. New baby?
Life has been pretty wonderful at the Pod Palace. We are all feeling pretty well. Hutch, my little mad man, has so many bumps and bruises I worry to the extent of making him almost don a helmet when he wakes in the morning. I just chalk that up to being a curious, care-free toddler *and I pray every night he becomes more cautious!* He is doing amazing in school. He counts to 13 and loves to "read" his books to us. His baby talk is more sentences and phrases - and he is independent as ever. He never wants help. He "can do it all-by-my-self" whether it is putting on shoes and socks or helping us cook.
We are excited for the holidays and the possibility being able to welcome another kiddo into our world. No no no, I am not having a baby. In fact, I cannot have anymore because of the cardio issues had with Hutch. There has been a lot of crying and eating my sadness over that news but here I am, making positive changes to get my future to work better for me and my family.
With a possible gestational carrier on the line, I was prompted to do something new. Something fun, something that surrounds me with positive people from all walks of life, something that would help me earn extra money for the baby and make me look and feel better in the process: I joined Nerium International as a Brand Partner.

In the last 2 months I have been more active, more social and passionate about my business. Why? Well two reasons. 1) I want a baby and 2) Nerium works
Don't worry I was skeptic at first too. I tried it, loved it and then dismissed it because it was too expensive. I mean, I had a baby, bills, another business and no extra time or money. I waited nearly 5 months to call Josh and say, okay, my skin needs something and I know this works soooo, I want to sell it. I put down my investment and whammy the government shut down. So what did I do? I freaked out! How could I have put the money down on this when we need child care? If I would have redirected all that energy into starting my business, I would be farther today. Luckily I had a patient and sweet support group in my Nerium family and they encouraged me to keep on trucking. Plus, I didn't realize in a month my product would be free with a little work! Double yay!
Now my weekly checks are good and I am doing what I set out to do - working for my future baby! Did I mention the Nerium night cream is amazing! My skin is looking better and better!! If you are interested in learning more about that, click the link above or give me a shout!!
In other great news - we headed to Dallas for Thanksgiving and Hutch did amazing on the airplane. We had a wonderful time with our family and we got to see my best friend from college, Suzanne and her family too!! Does the heart good!
Smooth landing! Now we are planted for the holidays!! This Christmas should be a blast. Hutch's Elf on the Shelf, named Hauk, is just warming up in the house. Should be interesting. Stay tuned!
