The Big D - Part 1: The Calm before the Storm

Suzanne and Tabbie - Can you believe we have been friends for 10 years?

KP and I headed to Dallas to celebrate our friend Chris' big 3-0, which was in June but who cares, right? Suzanne scooped us up from the airport and we had a wonderful day with her and her sweet girls! We shopped, played and went to the Moroccan Farmers Market...they do not sell fruit there, by the way. Suzanne rallied a babysitter for the night and after her and Adam cooked dinner, we met Jake, Meg, Lauren and Chris, where we laughed the time away. We then headed to find a bar in Addison that was smoke free...fail. No such thing. We were exhausted from the trip and were home before 11. The babysitters even asked why we were home so early. A sure sign, we are getting old (I should probably speak for myself here!) Still, had an amazing time with the Montoya's! Thank you for the hospitality - We love and miss ya'll already!
