One Day Away

Kenny and I packed our bags and headed west on I80 to Nebraska on Saturday. My uncle was getting married to his long-time girlfriend and I really wanted to see my family. Kenny never says no to Omaha, as he spent part of his childhood growing up there. My mother was also originally from Omaha so we spent many-a-summer there with my grandparents. It is funny to think that we were in the same town, at the same time when we were kids and never crossed paths. Luckily, we had the opportunity to crossed paths again as adults and are now able to share our families with each other.

With Dad and Cinda.

With the newlyweds and my parents.

After heading to the wedding with my parents in tow, celebrating with Tim and Ann the beginning of a new life together, and heading to the hotel to crash for the night - we still had a half of day to visit my grandma, aunt and cousins before heading home on Sunday. Oh, and of course we snuck in a little reminiscing and a Runza run (pregnancy craving).

All missions were accomplished!

Surprising my Grandma at work: Priceless.

RUNZA TIME!

We miss you all very much! It was wonderful to see you.
