Rally Squirrel vs. Rally Hutch

Who needs a Rally Squirrel when you have a Rally Hutch?

Kenny really should be writing this blog, but I shall do the deed.
Not only has he been blessed with an amazing son this year but also his most favorite team in the world, the St. Louis Cardinals, defeated the Texas Rangers to take home the World Series champion title.

For those of you who did not know, Kenny was born in St. Louis, his middle name is Louis, and he would rather listen to Mike Shannon announce the Cards on the radio than watch it on TV. I am certain the original Busch Stadium was one of his favorite places to be on game day. The last game (actually my first MLB game) we saw there was in 2005 before they finished the new field. It was a great send off. However, we have yet to make it back to a game since.

In 2012 however, we have a good reason. KP made a WIN/WIN bet with a friend who was a Brewers fan. The loser of the NL Series would have to purchase a ticket at the winners field for both themselves and the winner. Looks like we will be seeing Tara next season in StL. Plus, Hutch will be old enough to go with for his very first game! Win.Win.Win.

As of last night we are able to yell from the rooftops that the Cardinals are the 2011 World Series Champions! Although every fan would love to see a sweep, most baseball fans welcome the 7 games series as it adds more games to the season and makes for a thrilling-on-the-edge-of-your-seat series. If you weren't a baseball fan before, the last several days may have just made you one.

Here are just a few pictures from the World Series week at our house.

Cutest Cardinal Fans in ALL THE LAND.
Sure do love my boys.

It sure was good to see the Cards take the title at home.
I am sure St. Louis was the place to be Friday night and Sunday for the parade. Next time!
