Siri, Where's the Easta Bunny?

Is something bunny?
While that over-sized, floppy-eared Easter bunny was breaking entries all around the grand ol' US of A, it failed to stop at our house. He must have heard the bell ringing around us, "Bring out your dead" (Thanks Monte Python) because something happened that rarely happens in our family... KP GOT SICK.

W H A T!

On Thursday evening, Kenny called from work complaining that he felt horrible. "Death, warmed-over" was the exact phrase he used to describe himself. In the 7 years he has been with the NWS, he has called into work sick (for himself) maybe 3 times. His immune system is made of steel and concrete. However, on this day, it had been compromised. Fever, aches, chills, and several soft-under-his-breath moans later, he was laying in bed.

Being the optimistic (best word I can think of right now) husband he is, he waited for his fever to break and we headed to KC on Friday after I got off work.

Now, you all that share a bed with your significant other can relate. KP + sickness = no sleep for the both of us. He was flippin' and floppin' more than the Easter Bunny himself. Hutch, who had his own room both nights, slept like the wonderful baby he is. It was easy to tucker him out, he was having a blast. Dzia Dzia and Busia, along with Aunt C, Uncle A and H&H made for laughs so hard my man was out before hitting his crib during most naps.

Take a picture already!

Easter times!

This lady is a hoot!

Beyond the exhaustion and sickness, we enjoyed what was in front of us. Beautiful weather, a nice church service, family and friends - and of course, celebrating the fact we were together as Hutch experienced his very first Easter - an Easter that was caught on KP's new iPhone, I might add.

W H A T!

I'm cute. Break me out of this joint.

Pullin' up!!

Keeping Charles busy.

Lounging.

Watch out world, KP ditched his old LG slider brick for a lovely smart phone, and Hutch has been his target. One hundred sixty six photos in 2 days - I think that is some sort of record.

Cheeser!

With all the new and shocking things around here, you'd be crazy not to check back! By the way, KP is feeling better and life is good!
