It's the Most Wonderful Time of Year....
Ah, Christmas.
The holiday season means so may different things to people. To KP and I, it means packing the car to the roof, loading the dogs, turing off the water and setting the alarm to away as we venture south to see family. Whether it is KC, Wichita or OKC we know our travels on I-35S are inevitable. Every year, we take turns with Thanksgiving and Christmas between the parents. Wichita was the setting for Christmas this year, as my Dad (shout out Dad!) had hip replacement surgery and we were all eager to be there to make sure to spread our "Christmas Cheer". However, for Christmas, Dad and LuCinda gave us kiddos, Benjamin and Hutch included, a great gift; The gift of freezing our chonies off at the Kansas City Chiefs football game that Sunday. Therefore, not only did we get to see my parents and other family like Grandpa Leonard, The Adams and The Kings, we were able to see The Podraziks and The Leibolds too! After Carrie and Abe hosted a grade A prime rib dinner to us all, KP, Samm, Ben and I went on a tour of the Plaza and the Santa House. Two must-see places in KC over the holidays.
On top of that, we got EVERYTHING we asked for; our families are great, Dad is home and recovering in record time, the Chiefs won and we all had an amazing Christmas experience.
Life is good.

My Aunt Dianna (my momma's sister) and my awesome cousins!

Benjamin and Kenny.
Christmas Eve Dinner. Kenny finally got the blessing to use Dad's Hasty Bake. Mmm.

Dear Santa, I've been good this year... (pretty sure his fingers are crossed behind his back:)
Kenny, Unkie Brad and Dad watching It's a Wonderful Life.
I think I see some tears.
Playing Dad's Christmas present, the Kinect. It was hilarious!
Uncle Kenny overload!
Kenny took me to this spot 5 years ago to look at the lights in the Plaza in KC.
I still find them to be impressive!

We couldn't resist taking Benjamin and Samm to the Santa House in KC.
Everything is mechanical and robotic. Freaky but festive.
Off to Arrowhead Stadium. Samm and Ben's first NFL game!
Our little crew! Ben was a trooper in 20 degree weather, heck we all were!
Ben and Aun-T jokin' about his "snotchoes".
Pretty sure Ben was frozen as we left.
Bye Bye Arrowhead! Great game Chiefs!

Good pics! Glad you had a good holiday and best wishes to you, Kenny, and baby P in the new year!
