The Secret is in the Sauce

While in Kansas City this past weekend for Easter, we took a trip downtown to the City Market. There is a place called Planters located on Main where you can purchase seeds for your garden along with fresh coffees, teas and spices - in bulk.

We strolled over to the farmers market and gathered almost 5 bags of fresh produce for a total of $13. I had only one thought in my mind: SALSA!

Check out just how beautiful the base is...I added a new ingredient to mom's recipe.

Back to Easter. Kenny's parents hosted 14 people. 10 Podrazik's and two sets of close friends. Church was moving, loved the company, the food was soulful and the weather was outstanding.

It feels good to be blessed!
