Today was amazing. Kenny proposed we jump in the Corolla and go! The spontaneity aroused my curiosity- I was all in. We traveled west to the beautiful Amana Colonies. As we toured the country roads, we stopped as we pleased. Amana, a colonial style village from the mid to late 1800's, has been mosly preserved. Along with it's scenery, it offers a wonderful microbrewery, quaint eateries and an entertaining history. We dined at the Colonial Inn, where they dished up authentic German food. Luckily, we parked across town! On the way o the interstate, we stopped at the home of my favorite Iowa winery, Fireside. After purchasing two bottles- we headed to do a little shopping. Now, we are on our journey home - with plenty of the day left to enjoy with eachother and the pups.
