Let's See How Far We've Come

Wow, can it be?

We finally mark the 30th full week of this pregnancy. In less than 10 weeks, I will see the little dude who has been shacking up in my belly for the past 7.5 months!

It is so hard to believe we are almost there. As anxious as I am to meet my son, I am not praying he will come early. All of the growing pains I am having are worth knowing he is fully forming and on arrival will be ready to brave the world.

With that in mind, Hutch, GROW baby GROW!

Hutch's actual size for both Week 29 and 30: A Squash

Here is a visual aid to help with these two weeks.

Because the veggie comparisions are few and far between, I thought I would repost the first side shot I took at week 16 to compare it to where I am now.

Gasp! Total weight gain from beginning of pregnancy until now- 9 elbees, which equals a nice belly bump- and I LOVE IT!

I thought I would close this blog with a cute little story.

On Sunday, Kenny and I decided to hit up Granite City for brunch. As I was getting ready, I grabbed a non-maternity cardigan to place over the top of a cute maternity tank. I thought it would be no big deal as many of my clothing choices are not maternity. As I put it on, I could button two of the 8 buttons down the front. Just then, Kenny walked in. I looked at him with probably the worlds saddest eyes and said, "It's too small." Without missing a beat, he replied, "Did it shrink?" He is so dang sweet.
