It's a Wonderful Life

Christmas 2011 was one we will never forget. Mostly because it was Hutch's first time to celebrate the birth of Baby Jesus and unwrap gifts, which he learned the art of rather quickly.

We headed to KC to spend the holiday with the Pod family. It was a great extended trip, although everyone was under the weather. We all just enjoyed what we had and spent time together. Big thanks to P&J, not only for the hospitality but for watching Hutch so we could eat dinner out with Carrie and Abe one night.

Here is just a quick jog of photos of the celebratory weekend. Note: On Christmas Day, my sister and Benjamin surprised me by showing up at KP's sister's house for dinner and to stay the night. It was something I absolutely needed. It was the best Christmas surprise ever.
