Chuggin' Along
After last week, I thought, 'nah, it can't get any busier.'
I was wrong. We are sooo sooo busy!
This week we had Hutch preparation classes Sunday, Tuesday and tonight. We bailed on Tuesday because we couldn't prepare our house for the carpet cleaners (Nope, not an April Fools joke), get E's room ready for the new crib and actually clean up all before a class that lasted from 7-9p.m. Kenny's schedule was awful and we haven't been sleeping a wink. It was time to say, enough. We did sneak in our weekly photos.
Week 33
My belly has officially outgrown my butt, which I thought was impossible. (haha!)
My wedding photographer and friend, Leslie Cowger from Freebird Photography has offered to do belly shots for us. I don't know if I will be sharing, naked belly is not my cup o' tea, but we get those done on Monday. Stay tuned.
Here is a pic of a pic we took a few weeks back for Ethan's room.
Our scanner is down; sorry for the jankiness of it.
Friday, we had a large 'all-office' meeting at work and had to be there extra early. We were rewarded by getting to take that extra time off in the afternoon. It allowed Kenny and I a couple more hours to spend together and was just what the doctor ordered as a kickoff for the weekend.
Saturday was the big JDRF walk, which I had been raising money. It ended up being a little disappointing. Most of my team couldn't make the walk. Although I didn't make my goal, or team goal for that matter, I did raise $160 to go toward a cure - and I made it to the walk at 8:45am. It was a little hot, ok, a lot hot, and stuffy - and my teamsters that did show up, Ash and Brian, were troopers too! Thank you all for your hard work!
Today, Sunday, I am putting the house back together and getting it cleaned up for the week. I just realized our tv was unplugged from Wednesday through Saturday evening - and we only plugged it in to watch Black Swan. (WHOA!) I didn't miss it otherwise. Finally, because I was so Debbie Downer last week in my post, I thought I would continue with the Easily Entertained portion of my blog. If you missed the first post, check it out here.

Once Lent started, a local restaurant called B-Bop's put this sign out. My friends and I laughed about it at work and as we were driving home last night, I had to stop for a pic.

We did think of some alternative phrases.
"Holy Crappie, Fish is Back"
"Oh My Cod, Fish is Back"
and
"We Don't Just Serve Fish for the Halibut"
Feel free to leave your cheesy suggestions below!

Hey girl..you look great! I just wanted to tell you what a true honor it was been to watch you grow into such a beautiful woman! Being a mother is the hardest but most rewarding job you will ever have. Enjoy every minute of it! I love you girl!
