Diary of a Pregnant Girl: Thirty Niner
In mere days, 6 from today, we meet our son. This past week, as you all have read, has been quite an interesting one. On Monday, we had our weekly doctors appointment. E was putting on quite a show for KP, the doc and I. He was more active than ever. (Must have been the amazing Dr. Pepper from the day before catching up.) Doc checked me. No progression. Dang. I still have hope. Anyone have any tricks?
We have been reading to Hutch as much as possible.
We figured maybe we could talk him out of his nest.

One of the most popular questions I am getting these days is:
"How are you sleeping?" The answer...
Like this. I think I need another pillow.
Here is where we are this week. A full 39 weeks heading straight into the 40th....

Week 39 - Hutch's Actual Size: A Big ol' Watermelon
What do you think of all that business?
Patiently waiting his arrival may be the hardest part of this pregnancy...

Yeah the only trick that I know is walking a lot and doing the nasty as uncomfortable as it can...sex got you into this predicament maybe it can get you out of it? You have my sympathy!!
ReplyDeleteI love reading your blogs tabs!! the best way to bring on labor is sex and walking. that's advice straight from a few docs :) it's always fun to try anyways lol. hang in there...he may be a stubborn little valverde like most of us were (and still are!!) Keep everyone updated if anything happens!!!!

Eggplant parmesean! It really does work.
ReplyDeleteWell, I tried every trick in the book, I was so ready to get Molly out. So, I technicially can't 100% contribute it to the eggplant. I started walking the neighborhood like a crazy person - my neighbors were counting the laps - Friday night. I had a pedicure Saturday morning, walked ALL day long, then ate eggplant for dinner. My water broke that night.
Good luck! I can't wait to see pictures!
