1. The Tabbie and The Hair: Part Zes

Oh me, oh my! Tomorrow is the last morning I will have long hair for a while. This morning was an, "Oh my gosh, I am going to be late" kind of morning, and this afternoon was a, "Is it really ____ time already?" afternoon.  I am exhausted.

Here is the MAC attack that happened today...

{the look}
The Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Back combed hair in a side bun. Pink lips. Modest skirt.

{hair}
Wash, condition, then Unite Leave-In. Wrap in towel until makeup is complete. Blowout your mane only using your fingers for a comb. Back comb the top then pull into a side pony with a clear holder. Twist hair and form a bun. Secure with several bobby pins. If you struggle with bobby pins, go here for a quick tutorial from The Beauty Department. Finish with light hold hair spray.

I am not even sure you want me to explain the makeup job I did today. I was fast, furious and honestly, not-so-good. But here it is. BASE: I used MAC liquid matching foundation and MAC Studio Fix Powder over the top. Dust in naturally sun-kissed areas with MAC Medium bronzing powder. EYES: MAC Carefree Shadow all over, MAC Scene in the crease, MAC Black Tied in the outer corners. Blend all well. MAC Blitz & Glitz Fluid Line on upper lid line only. Two thick coats of mascara. LIPS:  Nude VS liner that I always seem to use and MAC Lustering lipstick.

{clothing}
A tight, nude, deep scoop neck t-shirt. White House Black Market black knee length, high-waisted, wide-pleated skirt. Black patent leather mid heels. Black and silver chandelier earring and drop necklace.

{information}
It was a big day yesterday. KP and I witnessed Hutch stand in the swimming pool, let go of the side and clap his hands in excitement! He didn't even fall down! Before we know it our baby will be walking and a whole new level of exhaustion will set in!

There are several philanthropic events I am working on these days. I have completed the DSM American Heart Association's Go Red for Women Luncheon save the date. I am currently designing a handout/business card for the Ronald McDonald House's (RMDH) YPO to hand out at the big music festival 80/35. I am working on a logo for the Shriner's group called the Krome Angels, and finally several pieces for the RMDH Charities Clay Pigeon Shooting fundraiser in the fall. Oh! And a couple wedding invites for some friends! Whew! I am tired just writing it out!

After posting my naked face yesterday, I realized a few things but mostly, my face is not symmetrical. Also, I probably shouldn't scare people with said naked face. Finally, one eyebrow is thicker than the other - at least I have two, which is more than I can say from my junior high days. haha! It appears that a lot of people, almost 100 views since last night, were interested in either the blog itself or seeing me without makeup.

I would love to hear from you! Leave a morsel to let me know you came to visit.

XOXO Tabbie
