2. The Tabbie and the Hair: Part Fünf
I was bad. But a good kind of bad.
Instead of caring about hair and makeup, I spend the entire day with my family.
We took both a morning and evening walk. Cleaned out the garage. Made food. Went Swimming and grocery shopping, not at the same time. We even snuck a nap in there. Today was excellent.
{the look}
Al Naturale
{hair}
Wash, condition, and air dry. No product. A little frizz, a lot of extra time. In and out of a pony all day.
{makeup}
None. I knew I was going to be exposed to the elements, so I was extra conscientious about skin protection. I applied my Lancome moisturizer with SPF with additional SPF over the top.
{clothing}
Cuffed denim knee shorts (F21) with a basic green polka dot tank (Abercrombie & Fitch). My favorite goldfish/nude reef flip flops to fancy up the jorts.
Because I didn't take any photos today to put on this blog, I thought I would show make up steps from two days ago. Basically, this just shows me going from naked face to made up face in a couple photos. Plus, it proves I have a lot of work to do in the mornings. :)
Not glamorous or anything. Getting ready is what it is. To me, it is time for this artist to enjoy some alone time and play in an arsenal of warpaint.
{more information}
I must be honest. With the hair deadline right around the corner, I must admit I am having a little anxiety about cutting my hair. This last year, it has given me something to hide behind. It gave me a few extra minutes to be alone in the morning to work things out, and it made the 82 lb weight loss less shocking on my end. The idea of backing out has not even crossed my mind, but it is good to get the emotional part of this adventure out of the way. I know I will miss it but I know I will feel like a new women both inside and out afterward.
Whew, after saying that, I am more excited than I was before. Bring on the football helmet head!!
XOXO Tabbie
